The Library of the PRIF is the largest library for peace research and conflict studies in Germany.
The Special Collection U.S. Foreign Policy is a collection of literature and documents on U.S. international relations unique in Europe.

The Library of the PRIF is a member of the Specialized Information Network International Relations and Area Studies, a network of ten German research institutes.
The Network produces the Database WORLD AFFAIRS ONLINE, one of the largest social sciences biographical data bases in Europe. Retrieval is possible with German, English, and French descriptors.
For books there is access to WORLD AFFAIRS ONLINE via the Metakatalog des Karlsruher Virtuellen Katalogs.
For journal articles since 1990 there is access to WORLD AFFAIRS ONLINE via EDN EINIRAS Database Network produced by member institutes of the European Information Network on International Relations and Area Studies hosted by the Council of Europe.
Only part of the PRIF collections are included into WORLD AFFAIRS ONLINE. The complete PRIF Library catalogue is available on-line at this web site.
